👉 Use GPS Coordinates to Geo Tag an Image
GPS coordinates are numerical values that define an exact location on Earth using latitude and longitude.
Example:
Latitude: 28.6139
Longitude: 77.2090
GPS satellites send signals to devices, which calculate location using triangulation from multiple satellites.
When an image is geo tagged, GPS coordinates are stored inside EXIF metadata using a Degrees, Minutes, and Seconds (DMS) format along with direction references (N, S, E, W).
Geo tagging embeds GPS data permanently into an image file, allowing the photo to retain its location even after download.
